(Port) Wine of the month February 2019: Constantino Colheita 1910

Exactly seven years after the grand Constantino Vertical tasting at Quinta do Crasto we have re-tasted my former wine of the night with my son Nik and Miguel Roquette at Quinta do Crasto: Brown-red color with very vivid Reflexes. Perfectly balanced bouquet fresh(!) nutty notes, tobacco and toffee. Complex palate with very good supporting acidity and hasel- and walnut, tobacco and butterscotch. Long and balanced aftertaste with a spicy finish. 19/20
